My Dad and I went back up to the observatory in the Q1 for a twilight/night time viewing.
Unfortunately the sun was already hidden behind the mountains when we made it to the top,
but a few of the long exposure night shots turned out okay. Here is one of them.

Oh, and that's the beach to the right of the buildings.

Q1 Observatory, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia.

the colors are breath-taking. to say the truth i got no idea what a "long exposure" is.. maybe if u could u could help me understand what it is and why its used, cuz i see it in places and feel ignorant, THX.
